Solve problems with fractions, decimals, and percentages independently.	Yes Not Yet	Brooklyn is very shy by nature and tends to second guess her thinking when it comes to pāngarau. She has learned some very important skills for dealing with these types of problems, but is still developing her confidence to work with these problems independently.
Take on a leadership role in kura.	Yes Not Yet	Brooklyn applied for the role of kaiārahi for Te Huringa Rūmaki Reo earlier this year. I highly commend her courage to put herself out there to be considered for this role. Although she was not chosen as a kaiārahi she was chosen to be a part of a leadership development team, where she will gain more skills and confidence to help her take on other leadership roles later in life.
Reflect on my learning activities, and make plans for improvement.	Yes Not Yet	Brooklyn takes all feedback very well, and always makes a conscious effort to improve. She is motivated and driven to be the best in all aspects of her work. Well done Brooklyn - keep this up!
Answer questions in Te Reo Maori about a text I have read.	Yes Not Yet	Brooklyn is learning to engage in critical thinking when working on comprehension tasks. She is developing comprehension strategies such as drawing inferences to make connections with the texts she reads.
